#BookTherapy2021 – February

📚 February Book or Independence - "A room of ones own" by Virginia Woolf.

A book is said to be easier to read when negotiating events we have experienced or are experiencing, thoughts we do or are scattered in the mind. When it arouses emotions, then it seduces us. Even when it makes us angry, it moves us, and what success when it mobilizes us!

Always following the pulse of the days, the so important "here and now" as well as the meaning of space, Pick Up The Thread's unfolds this month the tangle of a landmark book on the subject of female emancipation. Written in 1929 it is more relevant than ever. Speaking of women and prose, she argues that for a woman to be able to write, she needs money and her own room.

With a psychoanalytic, structured but also caustic speech, she expresses her "progressive" views on something much bigger. Woolf "unlocks" this room of the story that is made for Her, the space that found her existence, the Ego .

How is it possible that small books always reveal such great truths? It is enough to read it, to discover one's own truths.

I thought about how unpleasant it is to be locked out and I even thought that maybe it is worse to be locked inside ".
